1 Night 2 Days (Korean: 1박 2일), first aired on August 5, 2007, is a South Korean reality-variety show shown on the KBS2. 1 Night 2 Days is one of the two segments (the other segment is The Qualities of a Man) for Happy Sunday. The show's members consists of Lee Su Geun, Eun Ji Won, Lee Seung Gi, Kim Jong Min, Uhm Tae-woong and their mascot, Sang Geun.
Real wild road variety is the show's motto to recommend viewers the various places of interest in South Korea. Because of the similar concepts in variety shows, 1 Night 2 Days has often been compared with SBS's Good Sunday's Family Outing 2 (a 1 night, 2 day trip) and MBC's Infinity Challenge (6 men competing in games). Filming is usually done 2 weeks prior to first official broadcasting.
On August of 2011, the producers and the cast members had a meeting on the status of the show and they have come to an agreement to end 1 Night 2 Days due to Kang Ho Dong's fatigue and an offer to go to SBS as well as the other member's issues.
On September 9, 2011, Kang Ho Dong left the show due to his tax evasion crime and retired from show business. The show will come to a conclusion in February of 2012.

About Lee Seung Gi
Lee Seung-gi is a young male vocalist who made his debut in 2004 as a high school student. Being tall and handsome, his voice color is contrary to his soft looks. Lee Seung-gi has a low and powerful tone of voice that appeals to many pop music lovers. Lee is an active student at school. He served as the student president in his second year in Sangkye High School. He first started music in high school by joining the school band as the leading vocalist.
