Synopsis
Most male students head for the military barracks after finishing their first or second year in college, and many of them go through relationship troubles when they leave their girlfriends behind.

The film presents four different couples and depicts how they cope with the challenging period in a largely lighthearted fashion. The first couple is Won-jae (Jang Keun-Suk), a college student who is officially in his early 20s but looks like a teenage boy, and his girlfriend Hyo-jeong (Son Tae-young), a physical therapist who is pushing 30. Apparently, their conflict revolves around their age gap, even when they remain apart due to Won-jae's military service.

The second couple is in the same music band. Bo-ram (Jang Hee-jin), a shy keyboardist, has a crush on Min-cheol (Danny Ahn), a tall and handsome band leader who is showing affection to another female band member, even when he is in the military. The emotional tug-of-war between Bo-ram and Min-cheol is a little bit more convincing than other couples, thanks to Jang's delicate performances throughout the film.

A very typical love triangle unfolds for the third couple: Jin-a (Yu In-Young), who believes she's the prettiest and cutest girl in the world, and her faithful boyfriend Eun-seok (Kim San-ho). When her boyfriend has begun his service, Jin-a sends him a nice gift package including what she calls "Love Candy," but her devotion turns out to be not so solid when she feels lonely in the absence of her boyfriend and in the presence of his close friend (played by Lee Ki-woo).

But this is the fourth couple that goes to the extreme. Or the fourth girl, to be exact. Bi-ang (Han Yeo-reum) is living in her boyfriend's house -- Hur Wook (Woo Seung-min) -- and she takes full advantage of his absence to seduce another man and even invites him to live with her.

Synopsis
Everything was going well for Ah Bo (Stephy Tang) until recently. After graduating from college, Ah Bo decided to open a shop with her long-time boyfriend, Ah Jun (Stephen Wong Ka Lok), thinking that she would eventually marry Jun when everything has been set up and running smoothly.

One day, Bo met her old classmate Kei Kei (Alice Tzeng). Kei Kei, being smitten by Ah Jun; decided to steal Ah Jun for her own, not caring about Ah Bo's feelings. It turned out that not only Bo has lost her love of a lifetime, she also loses her shop.

Ah Bo meets up with some of her friends, Ah Man (Leila Tong) and longtime boyfriend, Ah Fung (Terry Wu). In the meantime, Ah Fung is also two-timing Ah Man with another woman. Although Ah Man does love Ah Fung, she takes him for granted and thinks that he will never leave her. She is also selfish and doesn't want to be tied to a single relationship.

After the break-up, Ah Bo found a job as a make-up artist in the mall. Her boss Ah Kuen broke the news of her engagement and invited everyone out to celebrate. At the party, Ah Bo realized that her boss’s really young fiancee is very familiar. She recognized him as her old neighbor Ah Keung (Alex Fong) but Ah Keung keeps pretending that he doesn’t know Ah Bo.

A month later, Ah Kuen’s wedding was suddenly canceled. Bo found out from coworkers that Ah Kuen’s life savings were all stolen from the fiancee, who also disappeared. Ah Bo unexpectedly met Ah Keung on the streets. Ah Keung already has a new target, Tiffany (Suki Tsui). He finds Ah Bo following him. Ah Bo hires Ah Keung to deceive Kei Kei and let her have a taste of her medicine.

One day Ah Keung met his ex-girlfriend, Ah Yun (Linda Chung). Ah Yun told Ah Keung that her family will move to Singapore. Although Ah Keung had deceived Ah Yun's sister's money, but they weren't angry with him now.

As an experienced liar, Ah Keung successfully courted Kei Kei. Being abandoned by Kei Kei, Ah Jun decided to make up with Ah Bo. But Ah Bo has no more feelings for Ah Jun because deep in her heart, she unknowingly fell in love with Ah Keung.

Ah Man finally felt tired and decided to set up a stable relationship with Ah Fung. But Ah Fung tells Ah Man that he wants to break up. In the past 6th months, Ah Fung was actually secretly dating his co-worker’s girlfriend Ah Min (Miki Yeung). Ah Fung finally decided to let go of Ah Man and had chosen Ah Min for a 'back up lover' relationship upon agreeing with her, which, although did not last because Ah Min decided to get married with her real boyfriend, gave him new insights. He found out there is more to love than just being with someone (Love is about caring, not taking for granted, giving freedom to choose...all that he discovered with Ah Min). So, he lets go of Ah Man (who is sobbing at the breakup) because he feels she needs someone different who can also accept her as she is and who she can accept and love - they were incompatible and he put up with her, while she, on the other hand, did a few horrible things to Ah Fung, only to regret them immediately afterwards.

L for Love, L for lies has a fascinating ending with a strange, maybe unthinkable twist, especially after what the story line evolved to. However, in summary, Love can show its true form in the things we do that are not noticed - it is Love when we do something good for a loved one, but it also takes the shape of lies (lies to make things better and maintain stability/protect loved ones, or lies for deception, e.g. cheating and being dishonest in a relationship). There is a sharp contrast with the repenting Ah Keung and Ah Jun who gets a second chance (and the ending tells it all really), as to who really loved Ah Bo, despite the lies (notice the difference in the lies throughout the story and the way they followed these lies with actions).

Synopsis
Ah Wah (Alex Fong Lik-Sun) and Bo (Stephy Tang) are newly married couples. They were living happily together. Until one day, Ah Wah was promoting his "Pets Funeral Service" on one of the busy streets in Causeway Bay, and he saw Josephine (Pace Wu) who was his former tutor. They met up with each other again. Josephine was abandoned by her boyfriend, and Ah Wah was trying to help her to get through her hard times, soon they love each other again.

Soon after, Bo wants to go to Japan to see snow and for a trip. The trip was on a special discount. Ah Wah did not want to, it was too expensive, since Bo has a debt to Ah Wah's parents. Ah Wah suggested to go to Shenzhen, but Bo was too mad. She ran out of the travel agency. It was at that very moment that their once "perfect" love had started to fade.

Ah Wah followed Bo home. However, when Bo and Ah Wah went home, they had another argument. Ah Wah was chased out to the street, and he did not want to be homeless. Therefore, he went to Josephine's house to stay instead.

In Josephine's house, Ah Wah drank bottles and bottles of beer, while Josephine told Ah Wah how much she loved him. Then they slept with each other.

Bo was also furious, she moved to one of her friend's house to stay. When she was on her job, as a manager in a karaoke place, she met Philip (Philip Ng). Philip was "stealing" toilet paper, and actually he was doing a study of toilet paper's quality. Bo followed him to a restaurant, where Bo heard Philip explaining his studies over and over again. Despite of that, Bo and Philip became good friends.

Next, Ah Wah's parent visited the newly married couple. Ah Wah and Bo pretended they were in love, but it was too difficult for them. Finally, they had an argument. They want to be divorced. Everyone was shocked.

Once, the couple had met again in the elevator hall. Ah Wah was with Josephine, while Bo was with Philip. They had a short chat.

Finally, Bo decided to work outside of Hong Kong. However, there was no taxi for her. Ah Wah comes along, and promised that if there is no way Ah Wah could provide taxi for Bo, then they will have divorce. Ah Wah did not want to end his marriage, he recalled how he had a lot of fun and happy times with Bo. Ah Wah called taxi through his cell phone. He called at least 4 times. Each time, he begged the taxi driver, about his story, and how Bo will act if there is no taxi. For the last time, Ah Wah had tears in his eyes, but it was no use.

Bo saw how Wah was serious about their marriage. Bo also burst out in tears. The couple united.

Bo and Ah Wah went to Japan finally with a special discounted price for their make-up honeymoon. They took various pictures and displayed them in the living room. They seemed happy.

However, at the end of the film, the director reveals that Josephine and Ah Wah, and Bo and Philip are still together. Josephine text messaged Ah Wah, and Bo wrote a note on a piece of purple tissue paper to Phillip. Ah Wah was afraid that Bo might see him sending SMS(cell phone message), so he deleted after replying to it. Bo was also afraid that Ah Wah might see her contacting with Philip, thinking they're together, so she closed the door, and the story ends there.

Synopsis
Lee Yoon Ho (Jung Il Woo), a motorcycle maniac who engages in many fights at school and is known for his high kick, and Lee Min Ho(Kim Hye Sung), who enjoys spending time on scale models and web blogs, are brothers born a year apart but attending the same class at school. These two portray completely opposite Korean teenage characters in a comical way. And of course, there's the rest of the family. Their father (Jung Joon Ha), a full-time stock investor since being laid-off from work, nevertheless optimistic and reckless; their mother (Park Hae Mi), an oriental medicine doctor and always overly confident; their grandfather (Lee Soon Jae), who loves money more than anything in the world; their grandmother (Na Moon Hee), who is always defeated by her daughter-in-law in ongoing status quarrels, are some of them. Their uncle Lee Min Yong (Choi Min Yong) is a 27-year-old single dad. After going through a premature marriage and early divorce, he enjoys his life back in the dating scene with his half-single and half-married status, while continuing to encounter emotionally-involved moments with his ex-wife Shin Ji (Shin Ji) at times. Smooth High Kick! is a situation comedy, which portrays the everyday lives of the main characters colliding with each other in a comical way. However, at a certain point, the surprising mysteries of their seemingly-normal surrounding characters begin to unravel one by one. Source
